Comparing to Google

Surfwax is comparable to Google. Most people would think right away that since they have never heard of Surfwax, and because everyone knows Google, that Google is better, but they could be wrong. Because Google is so well known... everybody uses it and Google tries to sell them stuff while they are searching. On a smaller search engine, like Surfwax, there are no ads or sponsor links to distract you from your search. Looks like thats a point for Surfwax! Another main difference between the two is popularity. Google is very, very popular, and Surfwax simply isn't, giving a point to Google. Google's layout and colors are more attractive than Surfwax's choice, so Google gets another point. But, Surfwax comes back under the radar with another point for it's unique "Focus" feature! But, of course, Google makes a comeback and gets another point with it's many advanced search options, and its ability to search books, blogs, websites, videos, news, and even finances. In the end, Google's popularity, advanced search, and layout give it the win, leaving Surfwax in the dust.
